Kevin came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour in December of 1991, at age 21. He had just hired on to the Powell Police Department as a Police Officer in November. He served as a Police Officer for the next 20 years and retired from police work on October 28, 2011.

Kevin has been married to his wife, Chelle since 1990. They have four adult children; Kelle, Carissa, Caleb, and Kyler. They homeschooled all of their children.

Kevin received a call to preach God's Word in the summer of 1997. He was ready at that time to pursue the call but was encouraged by his current local church to stay at home and prepare himself for the ministry. He started taking Bible Institute classes. It was during these classes he came to understand what Covenant Theology, Calvanism and the Doctrines of Grace taught and determined that he disagreed with these views. Kevin had a heart for the Word of God and studied it whenever he had time. He came to see the interpretation of the Bible in light of the whole of God's Word and believes in the doctrinal position of Dispensational Theology.

Kevin and his family searched for a church in Powell for several years and could not find one that was a conservative Indepedent Fundamental Baptist Church. After attending several churches in Powell and Cody, they were led by the Lord to begin a work in Powell.

Kevin has continued his education and has received a diploma in Advanced Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
